Wondering what form of creative disobedience you could invent for the 26th of March day of action ? want to spice up your direct action with some imagination?  The Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination will run a workshop on creative resistance at Bedford Square anti cuts space. Faced with the urgency of the social and ecological crisis it is clear that everything has to be transformed, and this includes the way we struggle for a better world. Facilitated by art activist John Jordan, this workshop will explore how we can escape the old rituals of protest to find a space in-between art and activism, where the poetic and the pragmatic fuse into successful moments of rebellion. A space for those who define themselves as artists, activists or neither, the workshop will explore creative forms of civil disobedience and involve tools of self management and consensus decision making.
